Traditional Muscle Training
Muscle response assessed through observation
Weak contractions may be difficult to recognise
Stimulation delivered independently
Feedback mainly therapist-led
Functional exercises performed separately
Stella BIO® is an electromyography and electrical-stimulation system for clinical and home rehabilitation. It combines highly sensitive EMG measurement with functional electrical stimulation, muscle stimulation, biofeedback and TENS within one system.
Stella BIO®

EMG sensors measure electrical activity generated by the patient’s muscles.
Muscle activity is translated into biofeedback, helping the patient recognise and control activation.
When muscle activity reaches a defined threshold, electrical stimulation can be triggered to support movement.
The patient practises voluntary and functional movements using repeated feedback and stimulation.
